What a great demo final demo of 2024 with Toni Williams this October. She painted not one but TWO paintings, both a landscape and a figurative piece! I really is an education to see how a beautiful painting can happen with such rapidity. Before the demo, Toni had loose drawings prepared in thin dark paint, lines roughly drawn in. With the drawing layed-in and already dry, she began alla prima and wet into wet applied bright strong colors with bravura brushstrokes, letting the hues of the patches of paint shift, but always making accurate value choices. It was interesting to see how her artistic mind interprets and translates the photo reference into a work of art. Thank you Toni, you are one of our favorites.  toniwilliamsart.com
