We last got to watch and learn from Jeff Sewell in April 2022. My how time flies! He once again he was a pleasure to watch work, this time painting two seascapes for us for our edification, first a sunset and then a nocturne. The first piece was a brilliant warm/cool lighting composition that was interestingly started on a bright pink acrylic toned canvas to lay his colors on. The nocturne, started on a burnt umber acrylic toned canvas, was a symphony of cool colors with spots of moonlight yellows sparkling upon the blue ocean waters.
